PARITRANA SPLITS!
Remember PARITRANA, the political party launched by a few IITians? It's news yesterday that they have split vertically even before completing their second anniversary. Read thisThe rumor mill has it that they have split over issues of one faction favouring the upper caste. Now isn't that a good reason, if that's true, for some of the most bright people in the country to part ways, abandoning the noble cause they said they are here to uphold?
The Lok Paritran Party (LPP) branched into Bhaarat Punarnirmaan Dal (BPD) - the factions now having IIT Powai on one side and IIT Kanpur on the other. After the split
-- LPP alleges that BPD is illegally holding the Orkut community of their party.
-- LPP alleges that BPD is spreading rumours about their party with political motives
.. and the argument is probably continuing.
I see a bright political future for both the parties, since they have already passed the split-test and the allegations-test.
